Connecting Ecosystems: when connections matter more than speeches

In an ecosystem full of events, Connecting Ecosystems has proven that less scripting and more real connection can be the winning formula.

This July, from the Barcelona Finance Hub, promoted by Aticco, we gathered community leaders, entrepreneurs and drivers of change to do something very simple... but not so common: to really get to know each other.

The purpose: to connect without competing

We had a hypothesis. Barcelona is full of ecosystems. Fintech, impact, innovation, sustainability, international talent... But many times, each community lives in its own bubble. Locals mingle with locals. Expats with expats. Sustainability people with sustainability people.

Thus Connecting Ecosystems was born. A space without pitches, without prizes, without endless presentations. Only with a common idea: sharing. To create bridges. To listen to each other. To connect.

And we succeeded. The images and the conversations that still follow demonstrate that the need to connect is more alive than ever.

Voices that unite communities

To make this possible, we rely on people who not only belong to an ecosystem, but who expand and connect it:

• Laura Rofé, ambassador in Spain for the European Women Payments Network (EWPN), a vibrant community of women leaders in financial innovation across Europe. Visionary, agitator and builder of real networks.
• Victor H., the perfect example of a "pure networker". A tireless connector of people around the world, his name is synonymous with connection, without intermediaries or artifices.
• Oriol Sans, a great connoisseur of the Catalan entrepreneurial fabric and all the public initiatives that promote it. His vision connects the administration with the reality of the founder.

And, of course, we also hear from founders who are doing amazing things from Barcelona to the world:

What happened (and what is coming)

Connecting Ecosystems had no commercial focus or hidden agenda. And, precisely for that reason, it worked.

Because in times where everything seems to be measured by metrics and ROI, going back to the origin - to human relationships and selfless collaboration - is more necessary than ever.

From the Barcelona Finance Hub, we will continue to promote these meetings.

Because if there is one thing we deeply believe is that the best opportunities are born when you stop looking at your sector... and start looking around.
